Born of a desire to provide growers with ongoing solid, reliable products and service, Earl Passwaters formed East Coast Seed, LLC. Joining the AgVenture team of independent regional seed companies has enabled East Coast Seed to work closely with growers to bring them new levels of resources that will bring them the ability to increase their profitability and value of their farming operations. Through multi-platform genetics and technologies access that AgVenture provides, East Coast Seed will have the best seeds available to the individual customer in their particular area.

Mark Davis acquired ownership of East Coast Seed in the fall of 2011 after the sudden, untimely death of Mr. Passwaters.  Mark had worked with Earl and wanted to continue to bring superior technology and products to the area growers, as well as the individualized attention they had come to expect.  East Coast Seed continues to grow today under Mark's guidance.
