AgVenture Yield Specialist
As a full-time employee with an AgVenture Regional Seed Company, your duty is to proactively build long-term, profitable relationships and sell to targeted customers within your AgVenture Regional Seed Company's assigned territory.

Key Job Responsibilities and Objectives
- Know and understand AgVenture’s Maximum Profit System™ (MPS) while focusing on identifying and satisfying customer needs and overall profitability.
- Understand and implement marketing plan initiatives while driving key products and services in key target markets.
- Develop new and profitable grower accounts to drive business growth.
- Lead the sales effort for AgVenture products.
- Perform direct selling activities; provide agronomy services to local growers, and implement the MPS market strategy.
- Implement necessary skills to achieve sale performance objectives.
- Understand customer needs and provide feedback to the organization on product performance, program effectiveness and competitive activity.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in Agronomy, Business or Marketing preferred. Will consider other degrees or related field sales experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of:
- Selling methodologies and techniques.
- Agronomy and crop production practices.
- Marketing tools and techniques.
- Competitive product/service offerings.
- Local agricultural markets.
- Value chain and crop production practices.
- Environmental, regulatory, and stewardship requirements for the various technology products.
- Company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated skills in:
- Selling, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution, handling objections and coaching.
- Using computer hardware software/intranet to generate reports, territory plans, inventory and data.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Licensed and insurable to drive.
